About
Killer Bakery LA was founded by Liz Pérez, a Los Angeles–based baker with a love for all things vintage, spooky, and sweet. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a full-fledged passion project — a place where Liz could blend her lifelong fascination with the macabre and her eye for retro aesthetics into something deliciously unique.
With a specialty in vintage-style cakes and a reputation for her signature deep black Oreo Cookie Chocolate Buttercream, Liz brings an imaginative twist to every order. From eerie elegance to kitschy 1950s flair, every Killer Bakery creation is made with care, personality, and a touch of the supernatural — because, as Liz always says, spooky isn’t seasonal.
Before launching Killer Bakery LA, Liz built a decade-long career as an executive assistant and operations professional, supporting leaders across industries and honing her skills in organization, detail, and client service — qualities she now pours into every cake she designs.
Outside the kitchen, Liz lives in Boyle Heights with her partner and their two beloved cats, who happily oversee late-night baking sessions. When she’s not baking, she’s volunteering, hiking, lifting, or crafting spooky home décor. Together, they find beauty in the eerie, joy in nostalgia, and community in every sweet bite shared.
